Ysanna has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. She works as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) and Behaviour Interventionist (BI), supporting children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and those who are non-verbal. She has experience using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to promote effective communication. Additionally, she has worked in preschools, summer camps, clinics and homes. Having grown up in a daycare, Ysanna developed a passion for working with children and is excited about helping them reach their communication milestones. Ysanna aspires to pursue a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology to become a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
